Bank reinforcement of the river

The bank and the embankment had to be rehabilitated. A working platform was built for the construction machinery. First the big bags were placed in the river. Then the working platform was heaped up.

TILTEX was installed as a protection layer on the water side. There was a risk that the big bags could collapse in a collision with a ship. The erected working platform with the machines could also collapse. TILTEX thus absorbed the impact energy and thereby secured the big bags.
