This project required TILTEX 12P to be incorporated into flood channels and the complex sealing of the irregular shaped concrete headwall with wing walls of culvert outlet structures.

It was imperative that a quick and efficient installation was completed before the tropical wet weather season began in North Queensland.

TILTEX12P was selected to replace 100 mm concrete due to the affordability, sustainability and installation advantages. Additionally, it was chosen to mitigate the higher financial and environmental cost of over 300 m³ of concrete going to landfill at the end of its design life.
