Lining of drainage channels

Closure of mining operations in Perina Mine demanded of building 42 000sqm of drainage channels on mine’s slopes, in order to  capture remained sediments. In an effect, they were redirected from the mine to sediments plants and a special ponds.

Concrete lining was necessary in order to cover channels, which are of complicated shape, limited access an different geometries of the area including steep slopes.  There were considered and calculated such factors as speed and flow with acidity levels.
